Classification of common Dog Breeds in India.
Throughout the world there are several hundred breeds of dogs. The Kennel Club of Great Britain has classified the breeds those are common in India mainly into two groups: sporting breeds and non-sporting breeds. Each group is further classified into three sub-groups.
Sporting Breeds:

2. Gundog Group
3. Terrier Group
Non-Sporting Breeds:
Common members of this group are:
1. Utility Group
2. Working Group
3. Toy Group
