Protecting your Dog from Vaccinosis
To keep your pet and your family safe from deadly diseases vaccination of your dog is a must. But vaccination may often lead to the condition called vaccinosis. The following are some tips to help your dog to deal with vaccinosis.
- You are recommended to take your pet to vaccination only when your pet is healthy. You are advised to wait for few days if your dog is heavily infested with worms, pregnant, sick, has recently attained a surgery and in receiving steroids. Wait for at least six days to help your dog to set for a vaccination schedule after recovering from sickness.
- Do not subject your dog to vaccinations of several diseases. This can bring trouble to your dog. In fact, you are advised not to vaccinate your dog for any other diseases in case it is injected for rabies. It might cost you more in case you vaccinate your pet for separate diseases but it would be easier for your dog to cope up with vaccinosis. Even separate vaccination would give rise to low rate of problems that generally arise later in case of combined vaccination.
- Consult with a good vet physician who can recommend you the right vaccinations for your dog. Try to vaccinate your dog with good vaccination that has killed virus rather than modified or live virus.
- Inject your dog with those injections that fight against the diseases prevalent in the region. This would help your dog to get too much burdened with vaccinations which may often lead to development of diseases.
Try not to repeat the vaccinations until they are necessary. Some vaccinations are quite destructive in nature and so you must take extra precaution to save your dog from unwanted ailments.
